About Dr. Mike

“Dr. Mike” was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he graduated with a BS in Biology. In 2001 he graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry with highest honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.

Dr. Mike then completed three additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry and received a master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the UNC School of Dentistry in 2004. During his residency, Dr Mike was awarded the prestigious OMNII Postdoctoral Fellowship and Graduate Student Research Award by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation.

Dr. Mike is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the the American Dental Association, the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Northwest District Dental Society and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2006, he achieved Diplomate status as a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr Mike resides in Kennesaw with his wife, Shannon, three sons and his two dogs.
